Launched in 2022, Kuelap is a locally embedded solution for borrowers, cooperatives, and lenders in developing economies across the globe. With a mission to provide equitable access to financial services for billions of unbanked consumers, Kuelap streamlines financial institutions’ operations and champions open global standards, alleviating regulatory constraints and fostering both innovation and large-scale social impact.

From its conception at The Grameen Foundation to its evolution as The Mifos Initiative, I have steered Kuelap’s journey from vision to reality; the platform is the exciting culmination of a decade’s worth of expert-driven ideation and development—and we’re just getting started.
