Mr. Lionel MBIANDJEU is a leading figure in the telecommunications and digital ecosystem in Africa, currently holding a strategic role at Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL). With over fifteen years of experience serving the incumbent operator, he has progressed from expert in Marketing and Digital Communication to<\/span>
digital expert within the General Management, specializing in the<\/span>
deployment of high-impact digital and broadband initiatives. Recognized<\/span>
as a visionary of “Digital Cameroon,” he has held several<\/span>
management positions, notably as Head of<\/span>
Commercial Strategy for the 4G LTE project, Head of Marketing Department, and Head of<\/span>
Digital Communication Department, among others. He is distinguished by his ability to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and market-driven digital transformation. His achievements include the launch of 4G LTE, the launch of the BLUE brand in the digital sphere, the organization of events focused on branding and commercial activities, and the organization of thematic webinars on the challenges of digital transformation in Cameroon. In his current role as Research Officer to the Inspector No. 2 of the Director General of Camtel, he continues to play a key part in the company’s strategic direction. Furthermore, he has distinguished himself as a catalyst for innovation as President and Founder of the Cameroon Digital Tank (CADIT), Cameroon’s first digital think-do tank, which brings together nearly 280 tech experts and stakeholders across almost 33 sectors (crypto, blockchain, fintech, AI, cloud computing, space, health tech, agri tech, fish tech, outsourcing, tech universities, etc.). He is also co-promoter, with the online magazine CameroonCEO, of a special “50 Tech Makers” edition, which for the past three years has highlighted tech leaders both in Cameroon and in the diaspora. His commitment extends beyond national borders, notably through his role as a mentor and coach in<\/span>
startup incubation\/acceleration programs, thus confirming his position as an expert in digital transformation and an influential player in digital development in Africa.
