As a UX designer, Shubhra Bhatt strives to understand users
’ needs and solve their unique challenges,
no matter the product or industry—from
years, Shubhra has generated innovative, user-centred concepts while helping shape overall UX design
practices at diverse companies. Described as a
“prototyping genius
” by a former colleague, Shubhra
combines technical versatility, resourcefulness, and con
’ projects to
success.
Based in Berlin, Shubhra has worked with clients and companies around the world. Currently She is
working as Senior Product Designer at rebuy.com, an e-commerce platform for used & refurbished
electronic devices and media items, operating in Germany, Netherlands, France & Italy. Here she is
creating design solutions for customer facing challenges as well as internal tools for warehouse
employees.
Before that, she served as Senior UX Designer at Kuelap, a global lending platform for micro, small,
and medium-sized businesses in developing economies including Indonesia and Cameroon. As the
startup’
s
web-based app to bring the company
’
s core banking system to localised co-op members, Shubhra also
implemented comprehensive design processes, frameworks, and testing to ensure a uni
approach and high-quality output.
Previously, as a UX/User Concept Designer at di
consultancy
’
s digital design team to conceptualise and prototype designs for corporate clients to
support user research and testing. Shubhra developed concepts for high-pro
including V olkswagen, V orwerk, and Consorsbank. During her tenure with the agency, Shubhra
created a conversational user interface (chatbot) for a renowned client, quickly mastering the
fundamentals of this emerging technology and discovering a passion for working with AI. Always
willing to share her knowledge with others, Shubhra published a paper on chatbot strategies for V oice
T ech Podcast.
Shubhra holds her Master of Science in Media Architecture from Bauhaus University, W eimar. Her
master’
s thesis was selected for presentation at Design W eek in Beijing, China as part of Bauhaus
’
s 100th
anniversary exhibition. Previously, she obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in New Media Design from
the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India (the country
’
s premiere design school) as well as
a Bachelor of Engineering in Information T echnology from Sardar Patel University in Gujarat. Aspeaker of four languages, Shubhra found success on Indian radio as a young recording artist prior to
embarking on her design career.
