Pre & Post Event Setup
Help set up the venue before doors open and support the teardown once the final session ends.
Goodie Bag Packing
Put together the welcome bags every attendee collects at registration.
Attendee Registration & Check-In
Welcome arriving participants, verify passes, and hand out badges and lanyards at the entrance desks.
Information & Hospitality
Be the go-to person for directions, schedules, and quick questions — the friendly face people look for when they need help.
Speaker Support
Meet and accompany speakers on arrival, guide them to where they need to be, and make sure they have everything ready before they go on.
Stage Support
Keep the session flow running between speakers — manage microphones, timing, and smooth handovers between presentations.
Workshop Support
Assist workshop facilitators and attendees with setup, questions, and keeping sessions on schedule.
Catering Support
Keep food and drink stations stocked, tidy, and moving efficiently throughout the day.
Allrounder

Notes & Documentation
Sit in on sessions and capture structured notes, key points, quotes, and outcomes. Your notes go directly into the post-summit report.

Support the networking moments and side activations running alongside the main programme.
FAQs
Can volunteers attend sessions?
Yes. Outside your assigned shifts you're free to move around the venue and join any talk, masterclass, or activation that interests you.
How do shifts work?
Volunteers are assigned to shifts across the three summit days, with built-in breaks. Before the event, we host an orientation session to run through the schedule, introduce the team, and answer your questions.
When will I hear back after applying?
We review applications on a rolling basis and reach out closer to the event with your role assignment and shift details.
Can I volunteer for just one day?
Yes. You can sign up for a single day or all three days—just let us know your availability on the form.
What is the application deadline?
Applications are open until 30 September 2026.
What is covered for volunteers?
Meals and drinks at the venue during your shifts are covered. Travel and accommodation are not included, but we are happy to connect you with other Yaoundé-based volunteers if you need local guidance on getting around.
