Akaba James serves as the Country Director of Open Dreams, a US non-profit with the mission of “Equalizing Access to Educational Opportunities for Community Impact”. Many Open Dreams Scholars currently work on tech startups – some of them have won multiple awards. Open Dreams, being an access organization with countless international partners, is a robust support ecosystem for not only tech development but also the development of human capital.
James is a regular participant in the African Diaspora Investment Symposium in Silicon Valley, California, with technology at the heart.
