Damien Kemfack is Head of Compliance and Public Policy at Kratos Financials, a Cameroonian fintech building digital financial infrastructure to drive financial inclusion in Africa. He leads the company’s customer onboarding and compliance framework and its engagement with Cameroonian and regional regulators. Over the past eight years he has worked in international due diligence, compliance and political risk. His most recent role was with Dow Jones & Company, where he ordered multilingual due diligence and risk analysis across developed and frontier markets, as in-house specialist of Francophone and Lusophone Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. He holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics, and is completing a Master of Public Administration at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
