Passionate about building AI systems that solve real-world challenges across Africa, I work at the intersection of Generative AI, Machine Learning, and AI4Good. My journey began with data-driven research on agricultural credit risk prediction for smallholder farmers, where I explored how AI can improve financial inclusion and decision-making in underserved communities. As I advanced into Generative AI, RAG systems, and AI agents, I became increasingly interested in trustworthy and inclusive AI particularly issues related to bias, data scarcity, fairness, and the adaptation of AI systems to African contexts. Beyond AI engineering, my research interests include AI for Development (AI4D), responsible AI, intelligent decision-support systems, digital inclusion, and technology-driven innovation for social impact across Africa.
