Maëllys NGO MBOUI is Miss Cameroon 2026, Miss Cameroon Diaspora France 2026 and Founder-President of Cameroonian Girls in STEAM (CGiS), an educational and entrepreneurial initiative dedicated to empowering girls and young women through science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.

Her work focuses on digital inclusion, cybersecurity awareness, female leadership, innovation and access to technology careers. Through CGiS, she has led masterclasses, mentorship activities, STEAM clubs and hackathons in Cameroon, including programmes in Bamenda and Yaoundé focused on technology, entrepreneurship and cyber defence.

Alongside her academic path in mathematics, computer science and economics, Maëllys is also involved in youth leadership, sport and community action. She has presented the CGiS initiative in academic and institutional settings and uses her platform as Miss Cameroon to challenge stereotypes, expand access to opportunities and inspire more young women to become creators, innovators and leaders in the digital economy.

Her goal during her Miss Cameroon 2026 mandate is to scale the initiative nationally and create stronger bridges between young Cameroonian women, universities, technology companies, mentors and the diaspora.
